San Bruno, CA: Driver Killed after Caltrain Hits Vehicle at Scott Street

, California (February 25, 2022) – A driver has died after their vehicle was struck by a Caltrain train Friday morning in San Bruno, authorities said.

The tragic wreck happened at around 8:00 a.m. at Scott Street.

According to the authorities, the no. 108 Caltrain train was headed southbound when it hit the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, whose name has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family, died in the crash.

None of the 31 passengers on board the train was injured.

The southbound track was closed due to the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
