1 Seriously Injured in Ridge Car Crash on Highway 101 near Golden Rule
Ridge, California (February 27, 2022) – One person was seriously injured Friday afternoon in a collision involving two vehicles in Ridge near Willits, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened at around 12:18 p.m. Friday, February 25, on Highway 101 near the Golden Rule Village.
CHP said a Chevrolet pickup truck and a Toyota Prius collided on the southbound side of the highway.
2-Vehicle Crash in Ridge
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found one person who sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient, whose name was not disclosed, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their condition at this time remained unknown.
The southbound lanes of Highway 101 near the Golden Rule were temporarily blocked due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
