At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Santa Ana Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Main Street
Santa Ana, California (February 28, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Sunday evening in Santa Ana, leaving at least one person with major injuries.
The incident was reported at around 6:07 p.m. on northbound 15 Freeway near Main Street.
Authorities said three cars, including a silver Nissan Altima and a white Infiniti, collided for unknown reasons.
At least one of the cars had its airbags deployed, and the driver possibly passed out.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked several traffic lanes.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the collision, the report said.
The report did not mention the cause of the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
