One Seriously Hurt in Galt Car Accident on State Route 99 near Ayers Lane
Galt, California (February 28, 2022) – A Sunday morning car collision in Galt left at least one person with major injuries, the California Highway Patrol said.
A silver Dodge Charger and a black Lexus sedan were involved in the incident that happened on State Route 99 near Ayers Lane at about 7:20 a.m. February 27.
According to the CHP, the two vehicles collided on the northbound side of SR 99 for undetermined reasons.
The impact sent the Lexus careening into the center divider.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to parties injured in the accident.
At least one person was transported by ambulance to a hospital with major injuries.
The CHP is working to find out what caused the vehicles to collide.
