Rider Killed in Santa Clara Motorcycle Crash on Monroe Street near Lawrence Expressway

Santa Clara, California (February 29, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision in Santa Clara on Monday afternoon, the Santa Clara Police Department said.
At around 2:15 p.m. February 28, a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Monroe Street near Lawrence Expressway when a vehicle made a left turn towards a gas station.
The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old, slammed into the turning vehicle.

The rider was rushed to a hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
The rider's identity has not been released.
An investigation into the deadly Santa Clara accident is under investigation by the authorities.
