Abraham Farias Among 2 Killed in Turlock Crash on W. Main Street near Carpenter Road
Turlock, California (March 1, 2022) – Abraham Farias, 36, of Turlock was one of two people who died in a traffic collision early Monday morning west of Turlock, according to the Stanislaus County Coroner's office.
The incident occurred just before 5:45 a.m. February 28, on W. Main Street, west of Carpenter Road.
According to California Highway Patrol, Farias was driving a 2016 Subaru SUV west on W. Main Street when he tried to pass vehicles ahead of him and collided head-on with an oncoming 2006 Honda sedan.

The Subaru then overturned and came to a rest on the south edge of the road. It also burst into flames following the impact of the crash.
Both Farias and the other driver, identified as Oscar Armando Garcia, 45, of Patterson, were killed in the crash.
The authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
