At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Wheatland Car Crash on Forty Mile Road at Hard Rock Casino
Wheatland, California (March 3, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured in a Wednesday night crash that happened in Wheatland, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision occurred at about 11:35 p.m. on 3317 Forty Mile Road, just in front of Hard Rock Casino.
A Hyundai Sonata and a silver Honda Accord were involved in the accident. The Hyundai went about 50 feet of the roadway into a ditch, and the Honda was blocking the roadway after the crash.
Emergency crews said at least one person sustained major injuries. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the victim to the hospital.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
