Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Chula Vista Accident on 805 Freeway near State Route 54
Chula Vista, California (March 3, 2022) – A motorcycle rider was hospitalized with major injuries after colliding with a vehicle on the Interstate 805 Freeway in Chula Vista Thursday morning.
At round 7:47 a.m., a 2022 Vento Rocketman 250 Gold motorcycle reportedly collided with a black Hyundai Sonata on the northbound lanes of the freeway, near the State Route 54 transition.
Details on how the two collided were not immediately released.
Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Chula Vista Crash on 805 Freeway
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
