Donato Villegas ID'd as 1 of 2 People Killed in Oxnard Crash on Harbor Boulevard near Gonzales Road
Oxnard, California (March 4, 2022) – Donato Guzman Villegas, 57, of Oxnard, has been identified as one of the two parties who were killed in a Wednesday evening traffic accident in Oxnard, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office.
The deadly head-on collision occurred at about 5:30 p.m., on March 2, in the 300 block of North Harbor Boulevard, south of Gonzales Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Explorer was headed southbound on Harbor Boulevard when it collided with a northbound 2005 Subaru Impreza, driven by Seth Strader, 44, of Ventura, that had crossed lanes into oncoming traffic.

Sadly, Villegas, who was a passenger in the Ford, and Strader were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other passengers in the Ford Explorer were hospitalized with major injuries.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for several hours due to the accident.
More details regarding the mishap were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
