Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Ashland Motorcycle Accident on MacArthur (580) Freeway near 164th Avenue
Ashland, California (March 6, 2022) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon in Ashland, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash happened just after 1:15 p.m. on March 4 on Interstate 580 near 164th Avenue. Interstate 580 is also known as MacArthur Freeway.
Authorities said the motorcyclist collided with two other vehicles on the eastbound side of MacArthur (580) Freeway.
Emergency personnel arrived at the crash site and found the motorcycle rider lying on the ground with major injuries. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately available.
