1 Injured in Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Hood Franklin Road in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (March 6, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Elk Grove early Sunday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on southbound 5 Freeway near Hood Franklin Road at around 3:01 a.m.
A semi-truck and a second car were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were yet to be established.
Officials say one person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
