Elderly Woman Hospitalized after Alhambra Car Crash on Long Beach Freeway
Alhambra, California (March 8, 2022) – A 90-year-old woman was hospitalized following a rear-end collision involving a stolen car in Alhambra on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 4:20 p.m., March 8, on Long Beach (710) Freeway.
A man was driving a car believed to have been stolen in Montclair heading west on San Bernardino (10) Freeway when he turned onto the northbound of Long Beach (710) and crashed into a Prius.
The elderly woman driving the Prius and was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The stolen car driver was also injured in the accident, CHP said.
No other information regarding the incident was provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
