1 Seriously Injured in Redwood City Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 near Marsh Road Off-Ramp

Redwood City, California (March 8, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital with major injuries after a crash that happened Tuesday morning in Redwood City, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 8:22 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of Marsh Road doff-ramp.
As per the report, a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a blue Honda and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in the crash. The driver of a black double-decker Google bus also called authorities reporting that his vehicle was hit by debris from the crash while on the southbound side of the highway.
The motorcyclist was lying in the No. 3 lane after the collision.
An off-duty Emergency Medical Technician was at the scene.
Police officers, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person who sustained major injuries was taken to Stanford Health Care for treatment.
All lanes of northbound Highway 101 just south of Marsh Road were blocked following the accident. All the traffic lanes were reopened at 9:35 a.m.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
