Santa Clara Man Killed in San Jose Collision on I-280 near Saratoga Avenue
San Jose, California (March 11, 2022) – A 62-year-old man from Santa Clara was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that took place in San Jose on Thursday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on I-280 near the Saratoga Avenue off-ramp at around 11:17 p.m. March 10.
According to CHP, the Santa Clara man was driving on the northbound side of I-280 when he made an unsafe turn onto the off-ramp and slammed into a Tesla.

The man then lost control and overturned, before being struck by three other vehicles.
The Santa Clara driver, whose name is yet to be released, died following the accident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
