One Hospitalized after Merced Car Crash on Santa Fe Drive near Beachwood Drive
Merced, California (March 13, 2022) – One person was hospitalized Friday afternoon following a traffic collision in Merced, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 2:32 p.m. on March 11 on Santa Fe Drive near Beachwood Drive.
CHP said a red Hyundai collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles rolled three times after the collision. Debris from the crash hit Merced Union High School bus No.46.
At least one patient was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
The wrecked vehicles were removed from the crash site.
The crash remains under investigation.
