Rider Dies in Livermore Motorcycle Crash on 4462 Mines Road

Livermore, California (March 12, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in a crash that happened Saturday afternoon in Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at about 1:30 p.m. in the 4462 block of Mines Road.
The motorcyclist collided with a Jeep Wrangler for unknown reasons.
CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports about the crash.
The responders found the rider down with serious injuries but breathing, and the motorcycle in “bits and pieces.”
As per the report, the motorcyclist later died of the injuries.
Both the motorcycle and the Jeep were towed away from the scene.
The roadway remained closed until 4:06 p.m., when all lanes were reopened.
CHP is investigating the accident.
