At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Lucerne Valley Crash on 36262 Rabbit Springs Road
Lucerne Valley, California (March 13, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a head-on collision that happened Saturday afternoon in Lucerne Valley, resulting in major injuries.
The crash occurred at around 5:30 p.m. in the 36262 block of Rabbit Springs Road near Cherokee Trail.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Jeep and a black Volkswagen collided head-on for unknown reasons. The force sent both cars off the roadway.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped the motorists, including one who sustained major injuries. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
