Rider Seriously Injured in Redwood City Accident on Highway 101 near Whipple Avenue
Redwood City, California (March 13, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle in Redwood City on Friday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
The collision on northbound Highway 101, just south of Whipple Avenue, happened at around 3:57 p.m. March 11.
A blue Harley Davidson motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately established.

The rider sustained major injuries and was taken to Stanford Medical Center for treatment.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
The nortbound lanes of the highway were closed for the investigation.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
