31-Year-Old Kellie Content Killed in Oakdale Collision at Patterson and Bentley Roads
Oakdale, California (March 13, 2022) – One of the two people who died in a crash involving multiple vehicles at an intersection near Oakdale on Saturday has been identified as Kellie Content, 31, of Modesto, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 2:25 p.m. March 12, when Ruth Rancano, 56, of Modesto, was driving a 2007 Honda north on Bentley Road and failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Patterson Road.
The Honda collided with the right side of a 2018 Chevrolet traveling east on Patterson Road and which was being driven by Eliseo Zapien, 45, of Waterford.
The crashed vehicles then collided with a third vehicle, a 2017 Volkswagen heading west on Patterson Road. The Chevrolet overturned following the impact of the accident.

Rancano and Content, who was driving the Volkswagen, were both killed in the accident.
Zapien and Natalie Camacho, 31, of Modesto, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, were transported to Memorial Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
