At Least 1 Killed in Ontario Crash on Interstate 15 near San Bernardino Freeway
Ontario, California – At least one person died following a crash that happened early Saturday in Ontario, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash on Interstate 15, near San Bernardino Freewayat around 3 a.m. March 12.
According to the CHP report, a vehicle made a U-turn on southbound 15 Freeway and proceeded to travel the wrong way.
The vehicle then collided head-on with oncoming vehicles.

Authorities said a gray Chevrolet Malibu, a Nissan Sentra, and a black SUV were among the involved vehicles.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately released pending notification of the net of kin.
The vehicles were moved from the scene with major damage.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
