1 Injured in Jamul Car Accident on State Route 94
Jamul, California (March 14, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision on Sunday night in Jamul, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on State Route 94, near Jamul Casino at around 8:43 p.m. March 13.
CHP said two vehicles collided, under unclear circumstances, on the westbound side of SR 94.
People were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the emergency crews who responded to the scene.
One person was transported to hospital with major injuries.
There was no update on the conditions of other involved parties.
The westbound lanes were shut down as crews worked at the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
