Man Dies in Santa Rosa Car Crash on Bennett Valley Road
Santa Rosa, California (March 14, 2022) – A man died in a car crash on Saturday morning in Santa Rosa, the police said.
The deadly collision was reported at around 6:45 a.m., March 12, on Bennett Valley Road, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
A silver Volkswagen Beetle was traveling east on the roadway when the driver lost control and crossed the yellow line into the westbound lanes.
The Beetle then crashed into two trees.
The impact of the collision pushed back to the road where it collided with a Nissan pickup truck.
The Beetle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not disclosed.
The Nissan driver was not injured.
The incident led to the closure of Bennett Valley Road for more than two hours.
