At Least 1 Hospitalized with Severe Injuries after Mountain View Crash on Highway 101 near Old Middlefield Way Off-Ramp
Mountain View, California (March 15, 2022) – At least one person was hospitalized with severe injuries after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Mountain View, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup was reported at around 4:10 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of the Old Middlefield Way off-ramp.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash. One of them overturned onto its roof on the right-hand shoulder.
The report said the crash resulted in major injuries. At least one person was transported from the overturned car to Stanford Hospital in unknown condition.
No other details were given, but authorities are investigating.
