Woman Killed in Car Accident on Lilac Road near Candle Way in San Diego
San Diego, California (March 15, 2022) – A woman was killed in a head-on collision that left two men injured on Tuesday evening in Valley Center, San Diego.
The fatal crash was reported at around 5:50 p.m. on Lilac Road near Candle Way, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 62-year-old man was driving a Lexus ES 350 east on Lilac Road when he crossed into the opposite lanes for unknown reasons and collided head-on with an oncoming Chevrolet Bolt driven by a 73-year-old man.

A 76-year-old woman in the passenger seat of the Chevrolet died while being taken to Palomar Medical Center.
The two men were also transported to Palomar Medical Center with serious injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
