Worker Injured in San Diego Construction Accident on West Broadway
San Diego, California (March 18, 2022) – A construction worker was hospitalized after an accident that took place in downtown San Diego on Sunday afternoon, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The incident took place at 330 West Broadway at about 12:35 p.m. March 13.
Firefighters used the Lyfe Pulley system to extricate the worker from the site.
Worker Injured in San Diego Construction Accident
The victim sustained leg injuries and was taken to UCSD Hillcrest for treatment.
Authorities said the victim was a man in his 20s.
The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is conducting an investigation into the incident.
