71-Year-Old Woman in Wheelchair Killed in Palm Springs Pedestrian Accident at South Palm Canyon Drive and Camino Parocela Drive
Palm Springs, California (March 20, 2022) – A woman in a wheelchair died after being hit by a vehicle on Thursday evening in Palm Springs, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at the intersection of South Palm Canyon Drive and Camino Parocela Drive.
The 71-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle at the Palm Springs intersection, police said.

First responders arrived at the location and found the woman in the wheelchair suffering from major injuries.
She was then taken to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The intersection was blocked due to the crash.
