Michael Maciel Killed in Tracy Collision on Highway 132 and Koster Road
Tracy, California (March 21, 2022) – Michael Maciel, 71, fomer Tracy Mayor, was killed in a traffic collision that took place at around 3:40 p.m. March 17, on Highway 132 in Tracy.
According to authorities, Fernando Duran-Ortiz, 44, was driving a 2006 GMC Yukon east on Highway 132 when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a 2014 Ford Focus at the intersection of Koster Road.
Maciel, who was riding in the Ford, was killed in the crash.
Duran-Ortiz was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The deadly crash is under investigation.
