2 Injured in San Diego Car Crash on Willow Glen Drive
San Diego, California (March 21, 2022) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Monday morning in San Diego.
The accident happened on Willow Glen Drive at around 9:25 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Kia reportedly crossed the double yellow lines and struck a white Toyota Camry head-on. The impact of the collision sent the Kia back into the westbound lanes where it collided with a gold Honda Accord.
The 45-year-old driver of the Camry and the driver of the Kia both suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the Honda Accord, a 62-year-old Chula Vista, was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
