Man Dies in Big Bear Lake Motorcycle Crash at Big Bear Boulevard and Knickerbocker Road
Big Bear Lake, California (March 21, 2022) – A man was killed in a motorcycle collision that occurred in Big Bear Lake on Sunday evening.
The deadly collision happened at around 6:33 p.m. at the intersection of Big Bear Boulevard and Knickerbocker Road.
According to the Big Bear Sheriff's Department, a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Big Bear Boulevard toward Knickerbocker Road.
At the same time, a Toyota sedan was traveling west on Big Bear Boulevard in the left hand turn lane.
As the Toyota made a left turn onto southbound of Knickerbocker Road, the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and was ejected.
Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the victim before transporting him to Bear Valley Community Hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
More details regarding the incident were not provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
