Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Salinas Crash on Blanco Road near West Alisal Street
Salinas, California (March 21, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Monday afternoon traffic accident that killed a motorcyclist in Salinas.
The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m., on Blanco Road near West Alisal Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a van was driving eastbound on Blanco Road when it made an illegal U-turn in front of a motorcycle that was coming from the opposite direction.

Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the mishap.
