Percy James Moore Killed in Apple Valley Car Crash at Rimrock Road and Corwin Road

Apple Valley, California (March 22, 2022) – 82-year-old Percy James Moore, of Apple Valley, has died while receiving treatment following a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday evening, March 21, in Apple Valley.
The Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to Rimrock Road and Corwin Road, where the crash had happened at around 5:35 p.m.
The firefighters found a pickup truck and an SUV with major crash damage at the scene.
Percy was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.
A helicopter was requested to land at Desert Valley Hospital, where Percy was had been transported by ground ambulance. He was later airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
Sadly, he died on Sunday, April 3.
Another person was treated for minor injuries.
Investigators did not immediately establish the cause or manner of the collision.
