3 Children, 1 Woman Injured in Salinas Crash on Highway 101 at Hartnell Road

Salinas, California (March 21, 2022) – Three children and a woman were injured in a Monday morning big rig accident in Salinas, authorities said.
The accident occurred on Highway 101 at Hartnell Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig truck cut off a sedan after making an illegal U-turn.
The sedan reportedly rear-ended the truck and was lodged under the trailer.
3 Children, 1 Woman Injured in Highway 101 Crash
The sedan was carrying four people, including three children, ages 3, 8 and 11.
All the three children were airlifted to a hospital in the Bay Area and their mother, who was driving, was taken to a hospital in Salinas.
The crash remains under investigation.
