1 Injured in Car Accident at Byron Highway at Marsh Creek Road in Contra Costa
Contra Costa, California (March 26, 2022) – One person was airlifted after being injured in a car crash in Byron on Saturday morning.
The accident happened at around 6:48 a.m. at Byron Highway at Marsh Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles reportedly collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the incident and rescued one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
The victim was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
