2 Injured after Plane Crashed near Mojave Air & Space Port in Mojave
Bakersfield, California (March 27, 2022) – Two people were hospitalized after a small plane crashed in Mojave on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened in the area of Oak Creek Road and Holt Street at around noon, according to the FAA.
The single-engine, homebuilt VariEze aircraft went down near the Mojave Air & Space Port.
Kern County emergency responders said two people suffered minor injuries in the crash and were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
