1 Critically Injured in Woodcrest Crash on Van Buren Boulevard and Canyon View Drive
Woodcrest, California (March 27, 2022) – One person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision that took place in Woodcrest on Friday evening.
The wreck happened on Van Buren Boulevard and Canyon View Drive just before 9:22 p.m. March 25.
According to authorities, a pickup truck and a passenger sedan were involved in the collision.
One of the motorists crashed into a pole.
Firefighters responded to the scene and rescued the driver who crashed into the pole.
The driver was transported to Riverside University Health System Trauma Center in Moreno Valley with major injuries.
The crash caused a closure of the intersection for several hours.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
