2 Children Injured in Sylmar Crash on W. Bombay Street
Sylmar, California (March 28, 2022) – A vehicle struck and seriously injured two children on a bike in Sylmar Sunday afternoon, according to a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Emergency crews responded to the scene in the 13300 block of W. Bombay Street at around 4:30 p.m. March 27.
The children were riding on a green bicycle when they were hit by a vehicle.
A white Jeep was stopped near the scene of the collision but it wasn't clear whether it was involved in the crash.
The crash left items including clothes and shoes scattered across the road.
The children were transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately available.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
