Oliver Raymond ID'd as Rider Killed in Paso Robles Accident on Peachy Canyon Road near Old Settler Road
Paso Robles, California (March 28, 2022) – The motorcyclist who died in a collision on Saturday morning in Paso Robles has been identified as Oliver F. Raymond, 78, of Paso Robles, according to authorities.
Raymond was reportedly riding a motorcycle west on Peachy Canyon Road, west of Old Settler Road when he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic on a curve and collided head-on with an eastbound Honda Fit.
The crash took place at about noon on Saturday, March 26.
The impact ejected Raymond from the motorcycle and he went down an embankment.
Raymond was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
A 79-year-old Paso Robles woman, who was driving the Honda, was not injured.
Police are conducting an investigation into the deadly accident.
