Minor Injuries Sustained in Irvine Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 133
Irvine, California (March 30, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning in Irvine, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup occurred at about 9:41 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Highway 133.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident. Two of them were blocking the No. 1 lane after the collision.
At least one person complained of chest pain. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid and possibly transport the patient to the hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately determined, but authorities are investigating.
