Man Killed in Porterville Accident on Plano Street and Highway 190
Porterville, California (March 31, 2022) – One person was killed in a crash on Plano Street and Highway 190 in Porterville on Tuesday evening, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at about 7:20 p.m. March 29, on Plano Street and Highway 190.
CHP said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
One of the motorists reportedly failed to stop for a red light and crashed into the other vehicles.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 65-year-old, was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
One other party was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
It's unclear whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
The Porterville Police Department is investigating the incident.
