2 Suffer Minor Injuries in Mission Viejo Crash on 5 Freeway near Oso Parkway
Mission Viejo, California (April 1, 2022) – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that took place Wednesday morning in Mission Viejo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred just before 9 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Oso Parkway.
A white Toyota van and a red minivan were involved in the accident.
An elderly Asian male in the white van complained of pain to the chest.
Paramedics evaluated the motorists and transported one of them to Kaiser Permanente Irvine Medical Center with minor injuries, and another to Mission Hospital with minor injuries.
The cause and manner of the collision remained unknown at the time of the report.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
