LAPD Officer Injured in Koreatown Bicycle Accident on Ardmore Avenue
Los Angeles, California (April 1, 2022) – A Los Angeles Police Department bicycle officer was injured after being struck by a suspected drunk driver in Koreatown on Friday.
The accident happened at around 8 a.m. on the 900 block of South Ardmore Avenue, according to the Los Angeles fire and police departments.
A motorist is reported to have struck the bicycle officer in unclear circumstances.
The officer was transported to the hospital with non-serious injuries.
The motorist was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while impaired.
