Man Airlifted after Butte County Crash on East Gridley Road
Butte County, California (April 2, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a suspected DUI collision early Saturday morning in Butte County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on East Gridley Road at around 1:10 a.m.
CHP said three people in two cars were involved in the accident.
One driver sustained a fractured femur and was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center for treatment.

The other people involved in the crash were not hospitalized.
The driver who was flown to a hospital was arrested on DUI charges.
The crash caused a closure of East Gridley Road for nearly two hours as authorities investigated the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
