30-Year-Old Irene Jaramillo Killed in Rialto Collision on Cedar and Randall Avenues

Rialto, California (April 3, 2022) – 30-year-old Irene Jaramillo was one of two victims of a deadly collision that was preceded by a police chase early Saturday morning in San Bernardino, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened shortly after 1 a.m. April 2, in the area of Cedar and Randall avenues.
The incident began in Colton when a suspected DUI motorist nearly collided with a Colton police cruiser.
The officer chased the suspect, who entered the westbound I-10 Freeway and went through Fontana and other surrounding areas.
The chase eventually ended when the suspect collided with another vehicle and crashed into a house near Cedar and Randall avenues.
Irene Jaramillo Killed in Rialto Car Acccident on Saturday
Jaramillo was one of the occupants of the vehicle struck by the suspect. Jaramillo and the other occupant, Aaron McDonald, 31, both succumbed to their injuries at a hospital.
The suspected DUI driver, Alejandro Canchola, 24, of San Bernardino, was expected to be booked into the San Bernardino County jail on charges of murder.
Canchola and a passenger in his vehicle, Jose Castrocota, 21, were taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The deadly collision is under investigation.
