2 Drivers Injured in Car Accident on 805 Freeway near 43rd Street in National City
National City, California (April 3, 2022) – A tow-truck driver was injured after being struck by a car in National City on Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened at around 2:30 p.m. on the 805 Freeway between the 43rd and 47th street exits.
The tow-truck was loading a disabled Dodge Charger on the right hand side of the freeway when a gray Honda CRV struck the Charger.
The impact of the collision sent the Charger on top of the semi-truck.
The tow-truck driver who was standing outside the vehicle was knocked down.
The drivers suffered minor injuries in the accident.
