54-Year-Old Man Killed in Kings County Crash on Kansas Avenue near Highway 43
Kings County, California (April 4, 2022) – A 54-year-old man was killed in a crash that happened on Friday night in Kings County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. April 1, on Kansas Avenue, west of Highway 43.
The man was driving a Toyota eastbound on Kansas Avenue when he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with an oncoming Ford.
Man Dies in Kings County Crash on Kansas Avenue
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash left four people in the Ford with minor to moderate injuries. One of the passengers was transported to Adventist Health Hospital in Tulare for treatment.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
