1 Killed in Foresthill Motorcycle Crash on Foresthill Road near Drivers Flat Road
Foresthill, California (April 4, 2022) – One person was killed in a crash between a vehicle and a motorccycle in Foresthill on Sunday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on Foresthill Road near Drivers Flat Road at around 3:29 p.m. April 3.
According to CHP, a Hyundai Sonata was heading west on Foresthill Road when it drifted across the double-yellow lines and collided head-on with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
One Dies in Foresthill Motorcycle Crash on Foresthill Road
The driver of the motorcycle, a 45-year-old Foresthill man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name was not immediately released pending notification of the next of kin.
The other motorist sustained minor injuries and was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the incident.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
