Robert Williams Injured in Deadly Auburn Motorcycle Accident on Foresthill Road near Drivers Flat Road
Auburn, California (April 4, 2022) – Robert Williams, of Sacramento was injured in a crash that left a motorcyclist dead in Auburn on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Foresthill Road near Drivers Flat Road at about 3:29 p.m. April 3.
CHP said Williams was driving a Hyundai Sonata westbound on Foresthill Road when he drifted across the double-yellow lines and slammed head-on into a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Robert Williams Hurt in Fatal Auburn Motorcycle Collision
The rider of the motorcycle, a 45-year-old man from Foresthill, died at the scene of the accident.
Williams was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with minor injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the crash.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
