Moises Mendoza Hurt in Deadly Fresno Accident on Temperance Avenue near North Avenue
Fresno, California (April 6, 2022) – Moises Mendoza, 21, of Fresno was injured in a deadly car accident that occurred southeast of Fresno early Wednesday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Rav4 was traveling northbound on Temperance Avenue when he failed to stop at the intersection of North Avenue and collided with a Toyota Corolla driven by Mendoza.
The impact sent both vehicles off the side of the road and into a dirt field.
A 19-year-old Clovis man, who was a passenger in the Rav4, was ejected when the vehicle overturned.
The passenger died in the collision.
Moises Mendoza Injured in Fatal Fresno Crash on Temperance Avenue
Mendoza sustained major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The other driver, Benjamin Villa Fuerte, 48, of Fresno, was not injured.
Impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
