1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near W Winton Avenue Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (April 7, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon on a freeway in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at around 3:27 p.m. on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of the W Winton Avenue off-ramp.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
As per the report, one of the cars went across several traffic lanes and hit the center divider wall. The driver of that car was unconscious but gained consciousness in a short time.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to St. Rose Hospital in Hayward for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
