Jeffrey Mazaroff Killed in Fresno County Crash on South Brawley Avenue and West Church Avenue

Fresno County, California (April 7, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening traffic accident involving a semi-truck that killed 59-year-old Jeffrey Mazaroff in Fresno County.
The crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Brawley Avenue and West Church Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the tractor Jeffrey was driving the semi-truck southbound on Brawley Avenue when a black Jeep Wrangler allegedly ran the stop sign on Church Avenue and crashed into the semi-truck.
As a result of the impact, the truck reportedly drifted into the front yard of a home and struck a tree.
Kerman Man Killed in Crash on South Brawley and West Church Avenues Identified
Sadly, Jeffrey, a resident of Kerman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jeep's driver, 22-year-old Zdeineb Juarez Calderon of Fresno, was not injured in the collision. She was later booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of DUI causing injury or death and gross vehicular manslaughter.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
